OM Digital Solutions updated their standard zoom kit lens, the 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 III which was released together with the OM System PEN. I thought it would be fun to do some shutter therapy with the humble kit lens. OM Digital Solutions claimed that they have made 3 improvements with the latest kit lens - weather-sealing, closer minimum focusing distance and better coating. I have made a video to share my thoughts, the things that I like and dislike about the new 14-42mm III, you can check out the video here (click). The 14-42mm III is a great value lens that does a lot for what it is, and is a great addition to the Micro Four Thirds budget lens line-up. If you are new, or unsure about which lens to get (beginner to photography), starting with the 14-42mm III is not a bad idea!
