As I was combing through my insect macro images from the recent months for my latest video topic about diffraction, I thought why not share them here in this blog as well? I think half of the battle of macro is physically being out there spending more time hunting the bugs in the wild. The more time you are shooting the more opportunities you will encounter some really cool bugs, or those little creatures doing something interesting. I for sure have not spent nearly as much time as I would like to doing insect macro, but hey, if only insect macro can being in income. As long as it remains a hobby, it has to be at the back bench - I got to worry about the coming bills and food I need to put on the table. Nevertheless, every time I go out to shoot macro, I always come home with something exciting!
