Hi Robin,I recently discovered this place and I must say that your posts on the PEN system are excellent. I love real world reviews and seeing lots of illustrative pics rather than numbers and graphs.Since you understand the PENs so well, would be great if I could know your thoughts on the PEN Lite, EPL3. I am a little worried about the alleged less-than-stellar IBIS performance. When I consider that the body is amaller than EP3 (meaning that SOMETHING must have been compromised a little), the allegations seem to assume more weight than I had initially thought.Regards,Rajorshi
I should have mentioned ... my interest in the EPL3 is that I am trying to decide between it and the Panasonic GX1 (long wait on that). Can't seem to decide. Each has strengths that look too good to give up on.Regards,Rajorshi
Time for a therapy session mate!
Thanks Rajorshi, I appreciate your kind words. To be honest I have not used, or tried out an E-PL3 at all. I have heard about the IS issues, but it might be isolated cases, which I cannot confirm. If that is the only issue, it should not hinder you from purchasing it. Olympus has great colors, much more pleasing straight out of camera JPEG and I absolutely love Olympus camera styled designs. It may be personal, but I think Panasonic cameras should update their design a little. Luke, Hell yeah !!
Dude, let's do sum thin this weekend if you are able.
Im shooting with another group of friends full day Saturday. I dont think I will do anything Sunday but if something crops out I shall let you know. But hey, you guys can go ahead without me !!
Man everything you capture is great!!!What a superb serie!
Hi Robin,Great photos again. I'm considering a purchase of an E-P3 (when I can find the cash!)and left a comment on your review blog of the E-P3. Basically I'm interested in if you shoot in JPEG and what further work you do on the computer to get the rich results that you do. Thanks for posting these terrific pics.
