Guess I Have a Guess

Oh dear, its very unnatural for this blog to portray so many "distorted" images over the past few entries. The first timers visiting this humble, yet innocent place might have had very wrong ideas of what simply ROBIN is all about. And I have a feeling that no matter what I do to redeem myself, Sexpo will always be something people remember my blog for. Hmm... oh goodness, what have I done.

Moving on to something different. Something not so disturbing, at least.

I seldom slurge on items or purchases that are not necesary. I seldom buy things on impulse. However, there are times that when you chanced upon an item on display, with the right lighting effect and the right timing and everything, you just could not take your eyes away from that piece of item. It may look nothing more than normal to others around you, but the effect just grips you so tight, that you can feel that the item was screaming right in front of you face to buy it, and the whole world depends on the purchase.

I guess that moment I have described happened to me today while I was in the city lepaking to waste my time like usual. And can you guess what I bought?

I know the watch seems rather oridnary, just like many other typical watches out there. Indeed, it was the ordinary-ness that struck me the most. It was so ordinary, but yet, it stood out from the other watches on the same group of display. Maybe it was the shininess or maybe it was just different in its own typical way. An ordinary watch is all I wanted, and as ordinary as this particular watch was, it seemed rather unique itself.

SEXpo Part 3: Naughty School Girl Stripping

As a typical Asian, I would try my best to make the most out of what I have spent for anything. Just having watched 2 live strip shows at Sexpo was definitely satisfactory and somehow, "entertaining" in extra-ordinary ways for this ordinary boy, but of course, it was a one entry ticket, which means I can stay in the event as long as I want, and catch on with more shows. As greedy as I sounded, I felt it was the right thing to do. Besides, you do not get strip shows everyday don't you? If you do, boy, you must be a very special person.

It was interesting, I was practically positioning myself so close to the front of presentation stage that the host even recognized me. Darn. But more interestingly, there was this guy who was also there for the previous few shows, and he too, was there with a purpose, not only to watch the live stripping, but to photogragh it as well. As I was waiting desperately eagerly for the show to start I was reviewing the pictures on my camera from the previous shows, the guy walked up to me and we started chatting. The next thing you know, we were comparing the photos we have taken with our cameras !! He has some really awesome shots I must say, ahhhh, maybe I should have exchanged contact details and steal some of his photos too. But yeah, Robin does not endorse plagiarism Right, *cough* as if

I must say that the girl who performed in this show, was rather different from the previous one I have posted on the Part 2 of Sexpo. Since the theme was school girl, she was indeed, extremely naughty. And boy, she even brought up a volunteer from the audience, and played all sorts of dirty stuff with him. Just look at the photos and you will understand what I mean by dirty. Man, all guys there must have thought how lucky the volunteer must have felt to be on stage. The only drawback was... the whole thing being watched by hundreds of people present.

So you are asking, what are the naughty things?? How wrong can they be since this was a public performance?

The response from the crowd was overwhelming, and goodness... I thought it would just be a take off cloths typical kind of show, and dancing around the stage, but whoah.. little did I know the stuff that happened could really happen. Eye opener to me, I must say.

I have one more entry planned, which would be on the Lingerie Fashion Show, but I think everyone of you are getting sick of Sexpo already. Hence to spare you guys the misery, I shall return to posting more ordinary and less disturbing materials after this entry. SEXpo 2007 Part 2: Pole Dancer + Stripper

It was really amazing how people can give awkwardly odd remarks when I innocently chose to post up pictures of the male stripper first. I guess no matter how much effort I put in justifying my actions, people will never want to see the "innocent" part in that entry eh? So to patch things up, I shall present you guys, yes, GUYS, with a promised treat: Female Stripper.

This was the second strip performance I managed to catch at the Sexpo 2007. There were countless cameras around, mostly ordinary point and shoots, I could only spotted 2 DSLRs, and a couple of semi-pros. I guess I must have not been alone thinking that photography might have been prohibited, and it could be a surprise to everyone since still camera is permitted to be used. Of course, to get good shots, you have to be considerably near the front, and so I plunged my way and fought my spot.

If you guys were curious, no, this was not my female first strip show in my life. nolah, I am very innocent one, aiyoo, dun look at me like that However, this was somewhat of a different kind, since it was performed in front of such a huge crowd, and there was a grand feeling from all the performances. Flashy lighting, loud music. noisy cheering from the crowds, there was just something you could not get enough of, and defnitely something you do not get from a private strip show. Of course, in private strips, you get to see "more", which undoubtedly would be in the expense of more cash.

Like usual, the stripper would go on stage fully, usually with slightly kinky and out of the ordinary costume. Some people have very weird fetishes, which I shall not try to understand at all. Then, piece by piece would come off. Since Sexpo is considerably a public event, no full nudity was encountered, but all performers were stripped down to the final piece. There was a video showcasing one of the previous performances from last year, and there was this male performer who even took off that final piece, but successfully hid his man fruit with his hand, without revealing anything. Such stunt, would be more interesting, if performed by the opposite sex.

SEXpo 2007 Part 1: The Male Stripper

It is the time of the year again, when sex is highly celebrated as a lifestyle and health interest here in Perth. Sexpo, a public exhibition on the main theme "sex" that tours all around Australia has made its stop at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre. I have blogged about Sexpo 2006 (click), but in the previous event, I only managed to catch one live strip show. This time around, I have become more greedy ambitious, and to make my money worth spending, I attended FOUR live performances, 3 strip shows and 1 lingerie fashion show.

SEXPO 2007 @ Perh Convention Centre

Sexpo is mainly about, celebration of sex. Sex has become a significant integral element in human lives, regardless whether we choose to express it openly or not. It is an extra-ordinary tool that enables reproduction, and intended to bring extremely great pleasures to both sexes and to those in between sexes ones too. People here (Australians) generally view sex as a lifestyle, and I do have to admit, sex has been overly promoted everywhere. Coming from a much conservative background, I may and may not agree entirely with some of the cultures I have witnessed with open eyes here, but witnessing and recording this event in particular does not imply that I endorse any of them. If they have something so show, we have something to see. The equation should terminate here.

I managed to drag a friend along to the event, and I sneaked my camera in since I have a feeling that it would be prohibited. Nevertheless, I was shocked to discover that camera was in fact, allowed in, but no video camera was permitted. Hence, it saved me plenty of trouble since I do not have to snap photos in stealth mode. I can openly, and happily go around shooting as much as I wanted.


So what was there at the Sexpo? Pretty much the same thing you would expect from the previous Sexpo last year, if you have been there. Massive selling of Sex-toys, Porn DVDs, kinky outfits, and all kinds of things, related to sex. There was a sex train ride, which I did not even bother to try, and sex games lined up at a corner. But most importantly, there were live performances. The performances were spaced approximately 30-45 mihnutes apart, so I stayed there for no less than 4 hours in order to catch a few shows, and to record all that I need to share with you beautiful people out there.

Hari Raya @ Perth

I would love to wish all my Muslim friends, and all my readers who celebrate this auspicious occasion, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

This is truly a time for me to reflect back , and think of the group of Malay friends I have in Kuching, mostly that I have met since high school days. At the time of Raya, a massive visiting plan from house to house, similar to Chinese New Year itself would bring everyone together. We could easily cover 8-10 houses a day back then, and boy, this year would be my first time skipping Hari Raya visiting in my precious hometown, Kuching. As strange as this sounds, I have made it back just in time for Hari Raya in the past few years during my summer holidays. Unfortunately, my luxury of holidays have been running short, and now I am suffering the consequence of the cruel working life.

SATAY IN THE MAKING

As I thought time would drift by depressingly with thoughts of imaginary curry, satay and rending which I would have savoured should I be having a holiday in Kuching now, I received an invitation from Farhan, a dear friend I have met since my college days in Perth. Yeap, his place was not so far from mine, so on the second day of Raya (Sunday) I made my first, and only visiting so far in Perth for Hari Raya.

To me, I have always believed that it is not so much of the food that we look forward to, but rather the people we are visiting, and the purpose of the whole celebration that truly bring joy and meaning to any huge occasions. I gotta admit though, you can only find the best Malay dishes served with such style and distinction at the “open houses”. Having friends coming together, and sharing smiles and laughter, forgetting the pain and worries of the ever-cruel world just for a day or two, this really something worth celebrating for. I am grateful in some ways that I have not been missing out much for this Hari Raya.

FARHAN aka POJOE

Having arrived at Farhan’s place.. I was amazed by what I observed. There was a group of Malay Students, mostly from Malaysia (if not all) gathering at the house and diligently worked their asses out in finalizing food preparation for the guests. I arrived kind of early in a way, and soon the entire house was filled with people from everywhere. I was thick-skinned enough not to lend a hand

From the pictures, I can say that most of the food was sort of mixed up and it is difficult to differentiate which was which. I was sooooo hungry that time that I just stuffed all the food onto my plate. So here is a list of the food that I have eaten:

I particularly love the Nasi briyani and Lamb Curry. And oh did I tell you that the Kuah Satay (Satay Sauce) was top notch??? Specially prepared by Asraf.

THE PEOPLE THERE...

Coming from a group of mostly guys the food that was served was impressively awesome. For a little while I felt like I was sitting in one of my friend’s houses eating their dish there.
