I have not been having dinner out for a while now, since mum has been super hardworking cooking nice dishes day by day. I myself did a fair bit of cooking myself when mum is away or busy sometimes, and therefore since my return to Kuching, I have been enjoying home cooked food for pretty much most of my dinner/evening meals. Yes, I can cook, though still not a pro (maybe shall NEVER be one), but my food is cooked and at least edible with some standards of my own ok?? Nowadays, since I work, I eat out for lunch. It has been quite a while since I last eaten out.
And then suddenly Felicity (click) suddenly returned to Kuching, and of course !!! We MUST make plans to meet each others up. I have mentioned many times, we Bloggers must stand together you know !! Alright, cut to the chase, we decided to have a dinner get-together, though at first I said I wanted out because I was supposed to cook for that particular night, but I gave in. I.want.to.have.a.decent.dinner.out.of.my.house. And so we gathered a few more familiar faces from around Kuching, and off we went to Richmond’s place at Ellis Road. Western Cuisine was for dinner !!
Garlic Bread

Like usual, the Richmond’s Place was FULL of people, even when it was just an ordinary Thursday. I guess the main attraction to the place is the famous-reasonably priced menu with quite a variety of selection, and the food is not bad too. Poorer people like me (yes, I am forever broke if you still had not noticed) would gladly opted for cheaper more value for the money choice, like Richmond’s !! Heck I am not going to spend like RM30-40 just for a plate of something no matter how awesome that something will taste like. Call me stingy, but hell, money does not come by easily nowadays ok?
Ohh Feli.. Thanks so much for getting me out for dinner!!! Richmond’s Place has always been awesome. And not to mention now most of my friends are away, and I haven’t been hanging out much lately. Having a company of friends while enjoying food, is truly fabulous now !!
Alright, for once I shall place people first before the food. Why? Simply because the people ere are so awesome and cool that they deserve the priority over food and some space here in this blog !!! You hear that you awesome cool people?? Remember to say something nice bout me in return ok??

Fish and Chips

*Something* with Black Pepper Sauce…

It was a great night out, having dinner with good set of companions is always refreshing. I have said this countless times, but I shall always reiterate this statement. It is always great and fun to hang out and do things with other bloggers, and bloggers are such wonderful creatures. We shared thoughts, stories, random jokes, and TONNES of laughters.. while we poke fun of each other. And the best of all, we can take as MANY pictures as we want until the batteries were flat (literally) without people staring at us with one kind of weird look like we can pee through our nose or something. After all, we can relate to each other in some ways that non-bloggers cannot.
Next up, hopefully soon enough, would be the entry on the activities we did for the rest of the night. Yeah, as old as I felt, I was in for the crazy ride. Stay tuned folks…I shall blog bout the other half (the happening and wild half) the soonest I can.
I shall tend to my much needed rest now. Its 2.31am and I have work tomorrow.
